PARENT INVOLVEMENT/COMMUNICATION
PARENT COMMITTEE
:: PARENT EDUCATION COMMITTEE

COMMUNICATION

BKECC believes we are in a partnership with our families. Please be assured that our lines of communication are always open and that we welcome and value your comments, questions, and suggestions throughout the year.

Some of the communication models will use include: e-newsletters, e-mail listserv, class folders, classroom & parent information boards, calendars, and parent-teacher conferences. Verbal communication or daily notes may be used to communicate about your child's day.

We want to encourage as much parent involvement as possible. We hope you will join our Parent Committee and volunteer your time. We welcome any contribution parents can make to benefit our programs. There is no greater thrill for a child than to have his/her mom or dad, grandma or grandpa be a special guest visit their classroom. We also encourage participation on Friday Shabbats and field trips.

PARENT COMMITTEE

The function of the Parent Committee is to provide parents with opportunities to be involved in activities, events, and programs for the ECC. In addition to extracurricular activities throughout the school year, the Committee raises funds to provide additional materials and programs.
