The
Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center of Tikvat Israel
provides a high quality, safe, nurturing, developmentally
appropriate environment that promotes the physical,
social, emotional and cognitive development of young
children, while at the same time fostering a positive,
Jewish identity and appreciation of the Jewish heritage.
Attention is given to each child as a special person
with different and varied needs, interests and developmental
levels. Learning activities are concrete, real and relevant
to the lives of young children. Through a variety of
hands-on experiences, our children grow and flourish
as they discover and explore the world around them and
develop a love of learning. |
Tikvat
Israel's Early Childhood Center was established in 1971.
In 1987, we expanded our program to better serve the community.
Today, our early childhood program includes a fully-licensed
preschool and childcare center for children ages 18-months
to five years old. Our well-equipped, specially designed
classrooms and facilities provide a wholesome and stimulating
environment for children to thrive.

We
are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. five days a week.
Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time
early childhood program, we can meet your needs.
The ECC is licensed by the Maryland Department of
Education Child Care Division and we have the
Jewish Commendation by the former "Board of Jewish
Education of Greater Washington" now known as the
"Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning".
